Heady with Glee? Hung Over with Grief?

The election’s over!  Now, the work begins or at least we hope it does.  The media headlines the work facing the President and the lame duck Congress.  They must defuse the threat of the “fiscal cliff,” the combination of tax increases and federal spending cuts slated to take place 2013.  We all deeply desire to avoid a recession!  Well, yeah.

Of course, any cuts may be delayed until late 2013 or 2014 and any action will have to result from a Congressional compromise.  Seem impossible?  It might except for the God Factor.

“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:11

Because of God’s will anything and everything exists.  Put your mind on a higher plane and choose to see with godly perspective.   Employ the Faith Factor!

“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”  2 Corinthians 5:7  Why?  Because our perception can be distorted, directed and determined by temporal happenings – fatigue, illness, bad mood, depression, artificial stimulants, traffic, bad day at work.

How do we see with faith?  Read the Bible for Truth, pray for guidance, fellowship with other believers, seek wise counsel.

Today, whether you are heady with glee or hung over with grief, live life with loving eyes of large faith.
