Bible Thought Blessings – 2 Samuel 7:9a

Blessings of God’s care and concern for you this week.  Prayer requests?

2 Samuel 7:9a, “I have been with you wherever you have gone …”

The Lord God instructed the prophet, Nathan, to speak these words to God’s servant David, the Old Testament King of Israel.  This short phrase is imbedded within 12 verses of instruction.  It’s easy to miss but that would be a mistake.

No matter what pressured you in the past, what puzzles you in the present or what will confound you in the future, God stands with you, dear believer.  Always has, always does, always will.  You and I are not abandoned to anxieties; to drown in the depth of decisions; to emotionally, mentally nor spiritually starve under stress; to cower in all-consuming concern; to succumb to useless suffering; to be preoccupied with pain; nor to flounder in fear.

Allow God’s words to usher in a sense of security and sufficiency.  Look up and behold His Holy Hand upon your all aspects of your life … past, present and future.
